In its annual report, Japanese publisher Capcom has revealed projected sales for three of its biggest upcoming titles.
It expects Resident Evil 5, what it describes as “the newest addition to our biggest franchise” to sell 2.3 million units, Street Fighter IV to sell 1.7 million units and Bionic Commando to sell 1.5 million units.
We reckon Capcom’s estimate for Resi 5 is pretty conservative, given the massive amount of hype and interest the game currently enjoys. Capcom’s estimate for Street Fighter IV and Bionic Commando sound about right.
