Capcom has revealed shipment figures for a number of its key titles from the financial year ending March 31.

The publisher’s biggest performer was PSP mega hit Monster Hunter Freedom 3, which has shipped more than 4.6 million units – a figure more than double any other Capcom game in the same period.

Less successful, but by no means a failure, is the 2.2 million shipping Dead Rising 2, the 2 million shipping Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and 1.6 million shipping Super Street Fighter IV.

Less impressive is the performance of Lost Planet 2, a high profile sequel that only managed to ship 1.5 million units.

Capcom announced that five titles shipping over one million units each in one financial year is a milestone for the company.

Lost Planet 2 is far and away Capcom’s biggest disappointment of the financial year. Ridiculous difficulty spikes and a reliance on cooperative play make it a game that’s hard to love, despite some wonderful visuals.
