Capcom announced late last month that three of its major titles lined-up for release in the first three months of 2010 have been postponed and will now be released in the publisher’s financial year ending March 31, 2011.

The games bumped out of the January-March window include Lost Planet 2, Super Street Fighter IV and Monster Hunter Tri (outside of Japan).

Reasons for the delayed releases include avoiding competing with other major titles planned for the quarter, to maximise sales, and to expand the line-up of titles for the next fiscal year.

Dead Rising 2 and “other major titles” are also planned for the year ending March 31, 2011.
