Developer Rocket Vulture has announced that its multiplayer cooking game Cannibal Cuisine will arrive on Xbox and PlayStation later this month.
The game originally launched on PC and Nintendo Switch back in 2020. While the premise is similar to Overcooked! the twist here is that you’ll be cooking the meat from hapless tourists to appease an island deity named Hoochooboo. So given your meat source may be a bit more… active than usual you’ll have to keep on your toes and also avoid the island’s many hazards and traps.
Lava balls, spiky logs and ancient temples will all be making you and up to three other friends’ culinary life just a little bit harder. To try and help, each chef can choose a specific ability to aid them in their endeavours. These include fire-breathing, healing totems or just the ability to dash around the kitchens faster. You’ll be able to play solo, co-op or an arena-based versus mode.
To celebrate the new console release, the team is also dropping a new free expansion on all formats entitled The Curse of the Scarab King. You can check out the Xbox and PlayStation trailer for the game down below. Cannibal Cuisine arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on January 25, 2022.
