MW2 has graced fans with a multiplayer free access period lasting for five days. During this time, users who participate will be able to play a certain number of game modes and maps to try out the current CoD experience.

However, there is one other match type variant that players are curious about which is the new third-person mode. If you want to know whether it’ll be playable during the free access period, then you’ve come to the right place.

Can you play Third Person in MW2 Multiplayer Free Access?

Yes, you will be able to try out the new third-person variants of each game mode present during this period. Based on CoD’s blog post, players will be able to drop in to the Third-Person versions of Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, and Domination.

This is an all-new feature that Infinity Ward has implemented with this iteration of the game. It was initially only available as part of the Warzone 2 playlist. Now, however, it seems that they are trying to integrate it into more aspects of the game.

For those unfamiliar with this match type, third-person modes have the camera set back over your Operator’s shoulder, giving you a much better view of your surroundings. Though it is a novel idea, plenty of players that are used to CoD’s first-person experience have reacted negatively to its inclusion in this title.

With the Multiplayer Free Access period already available, players worldwide will now be able to try out these new in-game features with no charge.
