Techland’s Wild West first-person shooter debuted on the PC back in the autumn of 2006 and the game is now on the way to the Xbox 360. The Polish developer will once again be at the helm and we’re promised improved visuals and enhanced AI, giving rise to more realistic gameplay and more challenging NPCs.

The game is set in Texas back in 1882 and sees the player take on the role of two characters: Billy Candle, an outlaw who has been accused of murdering his mother and stepfather; and Ray McCall, a gunslinger with the belief that god has chosen him to kill the evil people in the world – one such person being Billy Candle.

In addition to the single-player game, Call of Juarez will include support for Xbox Live with an intense multiplayer mode and a host of maps to play on.

Call of Juarez is scheduled for release on Xbox 360 across Europe in the summer.
