Activision and Treyarch (Call of Duty: World at War) have announced the development of Call of Duty: Black Ops, the next instalment in the multi-billion dollar video game franchise.
Besides the official title, a release date of November 9, 2010 has also been confirmed. We assume this will be an international date.
There’s currently no word on what platforms the game will appear on, but it’s almost certain we’ll get Xbox 360, PS3 and PC as a bare minimum.
Look out for more on callofduty.com. The first footage of the game will premiere on GameTrailers TV tonight.
