Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 5’s mid-season Reloaded refresh has been detailed and dated for a September 9 launch.
First off is the addition of Zoo, the latest map added to the game’s multiplayer mode for 6v6 matches. It’s accompanied by the return of the Demolition game mode that has one team trying to blow up a pair of bomb sites while their opponents try and stop them.
Zombies Outbreak mode meanwhile gets a new region called Armada which takes place in the North Atlantic Ocean. A new world event also sees new Black Chests appear on the battlefield. Round based Zombies map also get a new feature in the form of a Rampage Inducer.
The free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone also sees its fair share of additions. These include a new 50v50 mode called Clash which sees two huge teams fight for 500 points. Another new mode, Iron Trials ’84 promises to be the “toughest Battle Royale mode ever” to come to Verdansk.
A limited time event will also kick off on September 21. Entitled ‘The Numbers’ and is seemingly based on the series’ penchant for brainwashing broadcasts. Complete the challenges based around the game’s mobile broadcast stations, and you’ll get a secret reward. Along with this you’ll also get a new melee weapon: the Sai.
The mid-season update also brings along two new Operators. Hudson returns with a new NATO-themed look, but also Rebellion’s Judge Dredd will be available to purchase. The famous 2000 AD character will come in a store bundle as a Legendary Operator skin for Beck with three Weapon Blueprints. These include the Quick Judgment SMG, the Arbitrator Rifle AR and, of course, the Lawgiver Pistol. It also comes with an incendiary finishing move.
