Activision has released a brief teaser trailer for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Mystery Box Edition, which can now be pre-ordered ahead of its release this autumn.

To be honest, there isn't a great amount to see in the trailer; the camera mostly just pans around the box as it starts to open, with Activision clearly trying to be all moody about it. Like, 'oohhh, what's in this mysterious box?' That kind of thing.

I'll be frank, it kind of reminds me of the intro to The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo more than anything else. You know, the rubbish spinoff with Scrappy Doo and that annoying kid no one remembers.

Anyway, have a butcher's at the teaser below.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is due out on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 12. The game will include a dedicated battle royale mode known as Blackout, as well as three special editions not including the aforementioned Mystery Box.
