Treyarch has added microtransactions to the PlayStation 4 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in the shape of Call of Duty Points.

The paid-for currency can be used to purchase various items spanning Black Ops 4's three modes, namely Blackout, Multiplayer, and Zombies. Players can buy them in varying amounts, including $1 for 100 Points, $20 for 2,400 Points, and $40 for 5,000 Points.

However, you'll get a free helping of 500 Points if you download and log in to the Call of Duty Companion app, so keep that in mind. CoD Points will arrive on PC and Xbox One next week.

So, what can you actually buy with them? Well, for starters, you can acquire new Nebulium Plasma in Zombies, as well as progress through the cosmetic tiers on the Black Market. Furthermore, CoD Points can also be used to obtain new Special Orders in the Black Market.
