Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PS3 and Xbox One will see its multiplayer “scale between 30-60 FPS,” Activision has confirmed in a new Q&A.

Furthermore, Zombies mode will be locked at the lower 30 frames per second.

Activision has also confirmed that the PS3 game requires 16GB of storage to download the title and its update, whilst Xbox 360 players will need only 8GB.

Whilst gamers were unhappy with the earlier news that the last-gen version of Black Ops 3 would drop the franchise’s ever-present 60 frames per second, confirmation that the frame rate will jump between 30 and 60 FPS is perhaps even worse news. All this on top of the fact there’s no campaign in the last-gen editions.
