The Xbox 360 Call of Duty 4 multiplayer beta was a huge success, although its availability only on the console certainly ruffled the feathers of many PC gamers.
The situation has now turned on its head with a PC only single-player demo of Call of Duty 4 now available to download. The 1.4GB demo provides a chunk of gameplay from the campaign and will see gamers donning night vision goggles in order to spot the enemy forces that await in the darkness.
The demo should also provide a great opportunity for PC gamers to work out whether or not they need to invest in some updated PC hardware.
Call of Duty 4 will be released across Europe on November 9 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
