Only yesterday came word from Activision UK that the highly anticipated Call of Duty 4 multiplayer beta would be for US residents only. Now, a day later, things looks much more promising for non-US Xbox 360 gamers.
“There was some confusion caused this week stating that the Beta would be US-exclusive, however that statement was premature, because we have not finalized final details on who would be involved in the beta at this point,” reads a statement from Infinity Ward.
The statement goes on to reveal that the beta will “begin in the United States“, but Infinity Ward is “looking to go International and currently sorting out those details“.
Fingers crossed that a European beta will begin shortly after it gets going in the US.
