Call of Duty 3 is heading to Xbox One backward compatibility today, Microsoft has announced.
The game is the third Call of Duty title to hit Xbox One BC, following shortly after the arrival of Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops. If you’ve got the disc, pop it in your Xbox One to download the required files. Alternatively, if you own it digitally, you should see it turn up in the Ready To Install section of My Games & Apps.
Call of Duty 3 is often remembered as one of the weaker games in the series, but nevertheless, I found the game’s multiplayer quite entertaining at the time. Tom was impressed, too, scoring it 8/10 and praising it for its “incredible atmosphere”.
