The smash hit Xbox 360 WWII FPS is getting a second release for the Xbox 360 in the form of a Game of the Year edition, complete with free multiplayer maps and a bonus making of DVD.
The special edition comes with a token redeemable against the recently released Skirmish Map Pack, plus a bonus DVD featuring making of footage, historic interviews and commentaries, and mission walkthroughs from the game’s developers.
“With the Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year special edition, we’re providing Xbox 360 gamers access to more great content,” said Dusty Welch, vice president of global brand management, Activision, Inc. “With a bonus DVD and access to new multiplayer maps, the Game of the Year edition delivers the most intense Call of Duty 2 experience to date, all in one package.“
If you haven’t already picked up Call of Duty 2, then there isn’t a better time to do so, and despite launching with the Xbox 360 last year, the game remains one of the must have titles for the system.
