Call of Cthulhu is just around the corner, so naturally publisher Focus Home Interactive has rolled out an official launch trailer for you to feast your eyes on.

Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's story of the same name, Call of Cthulhu sees private investigator Edward Pierce rocking up at the creepy Darkwater Island to get to the bottom of the murder of the Hawkins family.

Along the way he'll battle to save his sanity while crossing paths with the various creatures that populate Darkwater. However, don't expect your firearms to do the talking here; Call of Cthulhu focuses its efforts in avoiding confrontations with enemies, instead placing more emphasis on exploration and solving various conundrums.

Call of Cthulhu is due out on October 30 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
