For a limited time Xbox One owners who pre-order the digital version of Fallout 4 from the Xbox Store will receive a free download code for Fallout 3 on Xbox 360, Bethesda has confirmed.
With the digital pre-order you’ll receive your Fallout 3 code within 7-10 days, which will work with Xbox 360 and Xbox One – once Xbox One backwards compatibility access is made available.
The publisher had previously said that initial retail editions of the game on Xbox One would include a Fallout 3 download token.
You can pre-order Fallout 4 on Xbox One, PS4 or PC now from Amazon at a considerably lower price than the digital edition, then spend the saved money of a version of Fallout 3 if you want.
Fallout 4 launches November 10.
