Criterion Games has announced that 2009 will see the release of four Legendary cars, available individually or at a discounted price for the set. Included in the set will be the Jansen 88 Special, Cavalry Bootlegger, Manhattan Spirit and the GT Nighthawk.
Expect details of each car over the coming weeks, starting with the Jansen 88 Special. This is a classic 1980’s styled silver sports car based on the Jansen P12 with a few rather cool modifications. Once players fill the gauge and hit boost you’ll get a burning flame trail from the rear wheels. You’ll also be able to click the left stick to switch to hover mode – the wheels will retract and the car will hover through Paradise City.
