Regarded by many as Criterion’s masterpiece, open world racer Burnout Paradise is apparently making a comeback in the form of a HD remaster for PlayStation 4 in Japan.

Gematsu reports that the tentatively titled Burnout Paradise HD Remaster will be available in the East Asian country on March 16.

At the tail end of last year Brazilian site GamePress spotted retail listings for both PS4 and Xbox One editions of this supposed HD remaster, so if it does come out and reach our shores it’s likely it’ll be released on Microsoft’s home console, as well as Sony’s.
