As promised EA has released a playable demo of Burnout Paradise, appearing in the early hours of the morning on the PSN and Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

At around 830MB the demo offers gamers a chance to explore Motor City, Big Surf Beach and Ocean View. Big jumps, stunts and smashes are promised, as is online play meaning you can invite friends to join you in some free-roaming city races.

The demo also supports the Xbox LIVE Vision camera and PlayStation Eye so it’s worth making sure yours is plugged in before you get going.

The full version of Burnout Paradise is scheduled for release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 25.
