Dangerous Golf, the new game from the people behind Burnout, will release digitally on Friday, June 3, Three Fields Entertainment has announced. The game is currently in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC, although a price has yet to be announced. [UPDATE – 10/05: It’ll cost £14.99.]

The date follows the reveal of the first gameplay footage earlier this week, with a new trailer posted by the studio offering the first look at the destruction found in the plate-smashing sports game.

“Welcome to the World of Dangerous Golf, an arcade style sports game with a very explosive twist,” says Three Fields. “Play through a variety of indoor courses – make a mess in the Kitchen, wreak havoc in a Palace, cause chaos in a Castle and set fire to a Gas Station.”

Three Fields Entertainment was co-founded by former Criterion heads Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry in early 2014, having left EA in the months prior. Its next game will be a spiritual successor to Burnout 3: Takedown.
