Criterion Games has announced that its Cagney update for Burnout Paradise on Xbox 360 has run into some minor problems that have resulted in a four-day delay. The update will now be available for Xbox 360 on July 14.
PS3 gamers won’t have to wait though, with Criterion confirming that the “PlayStation 3 version of Cagney should release on July 10”.
The Cagney update is pretty hefty including amongst other things: three new Freeburn game modes (Road Rage, Stunt Run and Marked Man), 70 Freeburn Challenges, new vehicles, new liveries and custom soundtrack support for PS3.
Criterion isn’t stopping there though, with plans to roll out the Davis update in August (motorbikes) and then the Eastwood update in the autumn which promises a new island.
