Ridiculed when announced, the Burger King themed Xbox/Xbox 360 games from UK developer Blitz Games have gone down rather well. In just four weeks since they were made available, more than two million units of the titles have been sold to burger lovers. To put this into some context, Microsoft’s Gears of War took six weeks to reach two million sales worldwide.

We created the Burger King Xbox games as a unique form of all-family interactive entertainment, and we’re thrilled with the response thus far,” said Russ Klein, president of global marketing at Burger King.

The games available from Burger King include Pocketbike Racer, Big Bumpin’, and Sneak King and each is sold for $3.99 when bought with a value meal. Despite the success of the titles in North America, there is no word on whether they’ll be released across Europe.
