The rumours are true: Bulletstorm is being remastered for PS4, Xbox One and PC next year, People Can Fly has officially announced.

Due for release on April 7, 2017, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition features higher resolution textures, updated character models, enhanced audio and a smoother frame rate, along with 4K support on PC and PS4 Pro.

It also throws in all of the original game’s content, including its DLC, plus a brand new ‘Overkill Campaign Mode’ that gives you access to an “unrestricted arsenal of weapons and Skillshots” from the beginning of the game, plus five new levels for Echo mode.

Oh, and if you pre-order, you’ll be able to play through the entire campaign as Duke Nukem. Wondering how that works? Well, unlike the original (which was published by EA) the remaster is being published by Gearbox’s new publishing arm Gearbox Publishing, which, as you’ll know, is the new home of Duke Nukem.

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is available to pre-order now on PlayStation Store for £44.99 (£38.24 to PS Plus users) or Steam for £25.49. Expect it to arrive on the Xbox One store soon.
