EA and Double Fine Productions have announced the complete soundtrack for Brutal Legend. The list features over 100 tracks from 75 bands including Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Megadeth and Motörhead.
“This soundtrack took years to put together as we wanted to represent every genre of Metal, and also have the perfect music for every epic moment in the game,” said Tim Schafer, President of Double Fine Productions. “It’s designed to be loved by Metal fans, and for those who are not, it will either convert them or make their heads explode… or both.”
In Brutal Legend Jack Black stars as Eddie Riggs, a legendary roadie summoned to a world of Heavy Metal where mountains are made of amplifiers, killer spiders spin guitar strings and Rock Legends roam the landscape. As Eddie players must crush skulls with a battle axe and unleash the power of Rock to reign down fire from the sky in an effort to save humanity.
