Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 is still in development, with new info hopefully coming out of studio Gearbox some point after September.

Gearbox Software co-founder Randy Pitchford confirmed the news to CVG.

“I’m looking forward to being able to talk about Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 soon,” Pitchford said.

“The game has evolved, I think people are going to be surprised by what they’ll see, and it’s still evolving. One of the reasons why we’re not talking about it now is that it’s evolving and we need to make further changes before we can start talking about it.”

According to Pitchford we’ll hopefully be getting some new info on Furious 4 once Borderlands 2 has shipped in September.

“I might come around to talk about Furious 4 between the releases of Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines, but certainly I won’t before the release of Borderlands 2,” said Randy.

Revealed at E3 2011, Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 was originally set for a 2012 release.
