Revolution Software has announced the release of Broken Sword: The Director’s Cut for iPad.
The iPad version boasts substantial graphical improvements, designed to make the most of the hardware’s 10-inch screen. The game also includes a digital version of the Broken Sword comic, illustrated by Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons. The electronic comic – never issued digitally before – has to be earned by discovering six new hidden features buried within the game.
“This really is the definitive version,” said Charles Cecil, managing director, Revolution Software.
“Rather than rush the game out for the US launch, we have taken the time to get it just right, and with the higher resolution graphics, and the addition of the digital comic as a bonus feature, there’s a lot of new content to enjoy. We are thrilled to be able to release the game to coincide with the European launch of the iPad.”
Broken Sword: The Director’s Cut for iPad is available now for £4.99.
