BioWare has announced that Bring Down the Sky, the first piece of downloadable content for the hit video game Mass Effect, will be available for PC gamers to download free of charge when the game launches on May 28 in North America and June 6 across Europe.
In Bring Down the Sky it’s up to Commander Shepard and the crew of the Normandy to save the day after a Batarian extremist group hijacks a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova.
The “fully optimized for the PC” Bring Down the Sky is the first in a series of planned DLC that will expand the Mass Effect story and universe.
In order to access the DLC PC Mass Effect players will need to register on the BioWare community.
