A new teaser for the next new Valorant agent has sent fans into hyped confusion. Teased by Riot Games on social media, the road is set for the next Agent reveal to take place later this month on official channels.

New Valorant Agent Teased

A video shared on Twitter depicting a fake Korean news report is believed to be a teaser for the next Valorant agent. With the Episode 9 reveal date already leaked for August 23, 2024, this video puts Riot Games right on track to reveal its next playable character.

As reported previously, the unknown new agent will be an Initiator character. This means that players will support DPS and tanks by flushing enemies out of hiding sports and setting up chokepoints for their team.

At the time of writing, very little is known about the upcoming character. However, the subtitles for the new video claims that the character is “extremely dangerous”.

“Investigators remain on the scene of today´s event in Myeong-dong, Seoul,” the video’s dialogue says. “Who… or what..ever is behind the event should be considered extremely dangerous.”

Valorant is currently available to play for free on PC, Xbox and PS5.
