Following on from last week's news that several Telltale games were to be delisted from GOG.com, it now seems Telltale's collabration with Mojang is also set to disspear from online stores by the end of the month as both seasons of Minecraft: Story Mode will no longer be available -even to existing owners to download – from June 25.

Writing on the official Minecraft blog, the full statement reads as follows: 'On behalf of the publisher, Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series, Season 1 and 2 will no longer be supported on June 25, 2019. If you have purchased these seasons, please download all remaining episodes prior to the service being discontinued in June.'

It's also notable as it doesn't sound like, given this announcement on the Minecraft website, that Mojang or Microsoft (who own Minecraft) will be stepping in to save it. It's also notable that this message applies to all formats of the game, with the messaging reccomending that people on 'Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android, or iOS' download all the episodes before the June 25th cut-off date.

It's a sad state of affairs for the game, of which the first season scored an 8 out of 10 in our review.
