A Borderlands 2 expansion titled ‘Torgue’ might be in the works, according to the online CV’s of various developers.

The job histories of various current and former employees of Los Angeles-based developer The Workshop, most well-known for the PlayStation Move game Sorcery, hint at an expansion with more than 10 hours of content for Gearbox’s so-hot-right-now first-person shooter. The codename ‘Torgue’ is the name of one of Borderlands’ distinctive weapons manufacturers.

Spotted by Superannuation (via Kotaku) a former senior level designer, current animator, and two current designers all dropped hints (now removed) to the Borderlands 2 work in their CVs.

Gearbox is planning to release four chunks of DLC for Borderlands 2 by June 2013, with the first – a fifth character class for the game – coming out in October.
