Borderlands 2 players have been reporting a bug which wipes Badass rank and tokens, resetting them to zero.
To make matters worse, the challenges completed don’t reset, meaning players are unable to re-earn their Badass rank.
However, Gearbox says the issue is not widespread and it has people working on a fix.
“Our engineers are looking into this, and the information you’ve provided has proven to be a great resource while we investigate,” Gearbox said. “At the moment, it seems to be a fairly rare issue and we’ll keep you updated on when we resolve it.”
All versions of the game are said to be affected.
