Bomberman toughens up for Xbox 360

We have known for a while know that Bomberman was making its way to the Xbox 360, but I’m sure many have been left somewhat baffled by the dramatic makeover the game has received for Microsoft’s next-gen platform. Gone are the cutesy loveable graphics, replaced by a rather menacing robotic Bomberman.

The new website features some screens and a brief teaser trailer, but there is enough on show to give an idea of what we can expect. The site also reveals that the game will feature a first-person mode as well as the standard top-down view, plus Xbox Live support. Hudson has scheduled the game for a May 25 release in Japan, but there is currently no word on a western release.
