A demo for Codemasters’ arcade-esque FPS Bodycount is out now on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The 1.45 GB download allows players to go hands-on with an early level in the game’s single-player campaign, which takes place in Africa.
We recently went hands-on with Codemasters’ frenetic shooter and came away rather impressed. Codemasters has yet to confirm a date for a PS3 demo, but has stated that it will follow the Xbox 360 demo.
“Fans should expect a lot of mayhem, a lot of destruction, fun, fast paced arcade action,” said Max Cant, art director. “It’s much more of an A-Team experience than some sort of dour, self-obsessed, self-important thing. If you want to have fun, play Bodycount.”
Bodycount is due for release on Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 2.
