Activision has revealed that Bizarre Creation’s arcade racer, Blur, is now expected to hit stores during Q2 2010 (April-June) for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

“The racing genre is large and we have a distinctive and compelling proposition,” said Activision CEO and president Michael Griffith at an overnight earnings call. “Blur blends the fun and power ups like those in Mario Kart with the realism core gamers appreciate with real cars and real locations. The result, the unique combination that beyond its single player mode redefines competitive online racing action in a way that genre has never experienced.”

Gamers won’t have to wait until the game’s launch to sample the multiplayer action; Griffith also confirmed a multiplayer beta set to begin in March. No further details were given.
