Blockbuster is targeting the pre-owned video games market with a promotion which promises 20 per cent extra when trading-in any title in its 600 nationwide stores.
The extra 20 per cent promotion begins today and runs through April 8.
In addition, the entertainment retailer is offering new releases Ridge Racer Unbounded and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 for only £4.99 when trading in game from the list below:
- Resident Evil
- FIFA Street 4
- Streetfighter X Tekken
- Twisted Metal
- Ninja Gaiden 3
- Asura’s Wrath
“Being able to offer buy-back deals for such popular titles is a continued sign of our intent to provide the best deals and latest games to our customers,” commented James Morton, head of games at Blockbuster UK. “Blockbuster has something for everyone, allowing customers to rent, trade or buy the most popular games at outstanding prices.”
Gamers should also check out Blockbuster’s midnight launch for Kinect Star Wars, as early queuers can get their hands on a free Xbox or the Star Wars Blu-ray boxset.
With GAME and Gamestation struggling and their customers possibly looking for a new video games retailer, Blockbuster is clearly hoping these deals will help attract them to its stores.
