Blizzard Entertainment has suggested we won't see any major Diablo-related announcements at BlizzCon 2018.

The World of Warcraft giant posted a statement on its forums in light of recent rumours pointing to a major reveal for the fantasy dungeon-crawling series. However, Blizzard has pretty much made it clear we won't see a Diablo 4 reveal at the event.

'We’ve seen a lot of rumors flying around about our plans for Diablo at the show,' said the company. 'These are very exciting times—we currently have multiple teams working on different Diablo projects and we can’t wait to tell you all about them . . . when the time is right.'

Despite this, it did add that it will drop 'some Diablo-related news' at BlizzCon 2018, so it's not all bad news, eh?

This year's BlizzCon will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, USA from November 2-3.
