While the seasonal update structure of Diablo 4 has already waned a lot in recent months, Season 9: Sins of Horadrim is set to launch at the end of this month. Coming with new Horadrim Powers and new endgame activities, the update should please fans who want to get the seasonal grind on.

While Diablo 4 Season 9 has already been playable in PTR servers for a good while, Blizzard is holding its official reveal next week. While the developer often holds its reveal livestreams on a Thursday, this one bucks the usual trend.

Diablo 4 Season 9 reveal date

Blizzard has officially set the Sins of the Horadrim reveal date for Friday, June 27, 2025, and will be showcasing the game’s new content on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and TikTok. The livestream will officially kick off at 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm BST, the same time as usual.

After the livestream on the 27th, Blizzard will release the new season on June 30 across PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4 and PS5. While the Nintendo Switch 2 has released, there’s still no official word on a Switch 2 version of Diablo 4.

The livestream will focus on the usual gubbins everyone expects with more details on the Horadric Spellcraft system that allows you to craft Horadrim Powers. Additionally, Blizzard will deep dive into Escalating Nightmares endgame activity as well as detail the seasonal quests and explore the new battle pass.

For players who tune into the livestream, Blizzard is giving out a free skin for the first time. Well, technically you don’t even need to watch the actual developer update stream. As long as you watch 30 minutes of Diablo 4 gameplay on Twitch during the period of the dev update, you’ll be able to get your hands on the Lacuni’s Pupil two-handed Sorcerer Staff skin.

Wow, wow, wow, look at that. Free staff, innit.

After the developer’s deep dive into Diablo 4 Season 9 Sins of the Horadrim, Blizzard will also have its Sanctuary Sitdown chat. This will allow fans to send in questions while for Blizzard developers to answer.
