Blizzard finally owns StarCraft.com

Blizzard has finally acquired the rights to the URL for StarCraft.com, it would seem.

There’s nothing up on the site yet – hence the lack of a link on the text above – but Fusible has spotted that the domain is now registered to MarkMonitor, a company that Blizzard uses for situations like these. The same firm has also acquired the rights to StarCraft.net.

It’s taken long enough for Blizzard to nail down the URL – 15 years, in fact.

Until recently, StarCraft.com provided guides for people who wanted to buy an RV.
