Guilty Gear and BlazBlue developer Arc System Works has acquired the rights to all brands formerly owned by Technos Japan corp., including the Double Dragon franchise.

River City Ransom, Super Dodge Ball and Kunio-kun are also included as part of the deal, AllGamesBeta reports.

The Double Dragon series is perhaps the most familiar name, with two entries arriving on old-gen systems in the form of WayForward’s Double Dragon Neon and Gravity’s Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons.

Plans for the future of the series, however, have yet to be announced.
