The most recent update to TFD saw huge changes across the board. While it might have introduced Luna and Ultimate Valby, there was a distinct lack of changes to Blair, who only saw a slight increase in Max Range Scaling. While others saw total overhauls and competitive changes – it seems that the less popular Descendants didn’t get the same attention.

“I’m genuinely disappointed with the Blair changes,” writes one player. “The last update post made it sound like he was getting some meaningful changes. Read the new patch notes to find out literally all they did was up his Max Range Scaling from 200% to 250% … which effectively does nothing for him.”

The most recent patch notes saw Luna and Ult Valby added, though specific module patches for other Descendants were limited to very slight adjustments. A Jayber main also chimed in: “Insert meme image of skeleton at the bottom of the water,” they wrote. “No bug fixes, in fact we have a new bug now.”

“The first update post talking about Blair, Valby, and Freyna really made it sound like some real changes were coming. They hyped up essentially nothing lol. Blair got a change. You can’t even call it changes and it’s seemingly done by someone who’s never played Blair.”

One of the responses takes a little bit more of a realistic approach. “Sorry man, Blar not paying the bills at Nexon. Joking, not joking…” This raises an incredibly valid point. All of the attention and marketing from Nexon focuses on its female characters which – as harrowing as this is to write out – sell cosmetics better than the male ones.

Others have said that beyond The First Descendant’s few key mains, the others are simply just there to pad the numbers. “A lot of Descendants in general are completely useless,” one writes.
