Blair Witch, the spookathon made by the developer of Layers of Fear, will be coming to PlayStation 4 with a pack of in-game goodies on December 3.

When I watched The Blair Witch Project, we lived on the edge of a forested area, close enough that the shadowy branches could scrape and waver against the window panes. Expectedly, I got in trouble for telling my younger and impressionable cousin that it was definitely real and it was a documentary made of the final recordings of three friends picked off by the otherworldly Witch.

Bloober Team and Lionsgate Games have now announced that Blair Witch will be coming to PlayStation 4. It will arrive with a host of gameplay and technical enhancements, and to celebrate the port, the developers are offering the “Good Boy Pack” for all players across platforms. This will include new dog skins, new in-game mobile games, wallpapers and new animations for the best boy himself, Bullet.

We thought the game was well good: “Blair Witch convinces you there’s peril around every bush by playing with the dimmer switch, and ratchets up the tension with a crow’s caw.” Halloween may have passed, but the evenings are getting colder and darker. Anyone want to go camping soon?

Blair Witch is out now on PC and Xbox One, and will be coming to the PlayStation 4 on December 3, 2019. Watch the new trailer below.
