Historical action title Bladestorm: Nightmare has had its release date pushed back by two weeks and will now launch on PS4 and Xbox One in Europe on March 20, 2015, Koei Tecmo has announced.

A digital PS3 version will also be released at the same time.

No reason for the date change has been given.

Bladestorm: Nightmare offers two experiences in one. Bladestorm mode puts players in the role of a mercenary, either fighting for England or for France in missions inspired by real events and battles from the era of the Hundred Years War.

In addition to the historically accurate Bladestorm campaign, a stand-alone Nightmare mode features a new fictional scenario in which a mysterious horde of creatures appears led by an evil Joan of Arc.
