Activision and Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops has become the UK’s biggest-selling game of all time, GfK ChartTrack has revealed.
Released on November 9, 2010, Call of Duty: Black Ops has gone on to shift a massive 3,722,411 copies as of June 25. This edges the title past the 3,702,410 copies Modern Warfare 2 has managed to sell.
Activision’s UK MD Andrew Brown said: “This is an outstanding achievement for the development team at Treyarch and the amazing Call of Duty community.”
The record sales news comes just as Annihilation, the third DLC pack for Black Ops, arrives on Xbox 360.
