Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is being developed by Nihilistic Software and will release this November, Activision has announced.
The first official details about Black Ops Declassified were revealed following the game’s underwhelming first trailer, broadcast during Sony’s Gamescom press conference.
Nihilistic previously developed PlayStation Vita’s other first-person shooter, Resistance: Burning Skies. It wasn’t very good.
Activision has been surprisingly secretive over details about Black Ops Declassified. Back in June, Treyarch told VideoGamer.com that it didn’t know who was developing it.
Black Ops Declassified includes a campaign set between the events of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 & 2, and a 4 vs 4 multiplayer mode “that features the hallmark Call of Duty gameplay, including Care Packages, Create-a-Class, Killstreaks, Perks, and even Prestiging”.
The game also implements touchscreen controls and ‘Near’ functionality.
