Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation, the third map pack for the record-breaking game, will be released for PlayStation 3 and PC on July 28, Activision has announced.
Annihilation features four new multiplayer maps – Silo, Hangar 18, Drive-In and Hazard – and the deadly Zombies map Shangri-La.
“The goals we set were about quality and variety,” said Treyarch’s online director, Dan Bunting. “We wanted to make everything feel unique and distinct.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation didn’t quite match the quality of the previous map pack, earning a 7/10 in Martin’s Annhilation review on Xbox 360. He said of the DLC: “Annihilation presents another batch of consistently entertaining maps built on the solid bedrock of sprawling architectural foundations.”
