The last few days have been a stroke of gold for Call of Duty fans, with the initial teasers for Black Ops 6 having been and gone, and a full reveal scheduled for after next month’s Xbox Showcase.

While the developers have also confirmed their involvement, we’ve yet to see much of the gameplay. That is, not until June 9th. On April 30th, Xbox posted a cheeky teaser on their official Twitter which alleged that a full game was going to be revealed after the showcase, however the vital information was redacted.

Now, though, it’s been revealed as Call of Duty Black Ops 6. This will be the first full Call of Duty title to launch on Xbox Game Pass, and it’s also been over ten years since the last CoD game was showcased by Xbox.

While it’s been suggested that this could be a game set in the Gulf War, we’re going to be waiting patiently for the emphatic return of Black Ops: Zombies.

This is a developing story, with more to come.
