Black Ops 6 Zombies is the only game mode that’s keeping fans engaged with Treyarch’s 2024 release. With numerous issues impacting multiplayer and Warzone, fans continue to enjoy slaying endless waves of undead opposition and completing all kinds of Easter eggs hidden around each of the maps.

115 Day, otherwise known as January 15th, is a day that resonates with the Zombies community as it shares the same numbers as the element that caused the initial outbreak all the way back in Call of Duty: World at War. To mark 2025’s day, Treyarch plans on revealing intel on the next chapter of the Dark Aether story.

New Black Ops 6 Zombies map inbound

Ahead of 115 day, Treyarch published an X post confirming the developer had plenty of news to share including information on the fourth Black Ops 6 Zombies map.

The fourth Black Ops 6 Zombies map will continue on from the goings on in Citadelle des Morts. Leaks suggest Maya and co are heading to the Dig Site which was the home of the hugely popular Origins map that released during the Black Ops 3 cycle.

After obtaining the Amulet from Citadelle des Morts, the next location for the crew to visit is expected to be the Dig Site in order to retrieve the Sentinel Artifact. Alongside being an integral part of the Dark Aether story, there’s also a chance it intertwines with what took place during the Origins storyline.

When is the new Black Ops 6 Zombies map launching?

The second post-launch Zombies map is set to launch as part of the Season 2 update launching on January 28th. Citadelle des Morts introduced Doppelghasts as new undead enemies to slay, and there’s a strong possibility Treyarch has cooked up even more formidable foes for players to overcome.

Treyarch has managed to revive Call of Duty Zombies into the best mode of Black Ops 6. The return to the Dig Site for the next part of the story has the potential to keep the momentum rolling while the developer attempts to address flaws in multiplayer and the battle royale.
