Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has received an update that affects Blackout players: duos has jumped from 88 players to 100, while quads has dropped from 100 players to 88.

Many have reported performance issues in quad battle royale matches, so it's likely that Treyarch is lowering the player count to try and fix that problem. Hopefully this will sort it, and who knows, maybe we'll see all Blackout variants reach the magic three digits in the future.

There have been a number of tweaks to other modes too: TDM playlists now support parties of six, a Zombies UI error has been addressed, and a ton of PC bugs have also been fixed. You can have a look at the full patch notes here. This isn't the big update that's been talked about, either; that's coming later this week.

Josh quite liked Black Ops 4. Have a read of his review to find out how much he liked it.
