Everyone's favourite mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is Blackout. Activision's foray into battle royale has been really well-received — even our own lovely Josh thought it was terrific. Well, if you have zero interest in zombies, but still want to have a gander at the latest Call of Duty, you can now purchase a cheaper version that doesn't include Zombies mode.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Battle Edition is available on Battle.net now, with a RRP of £34.99; it's actually on sale at the minute for £26.99 until January 6. This edition includes all multiplayer only modes, including the fan favourite Blackout. If you have no interest in Zombies, you'll be saving a nice chunk of change, as the standard edition is normally priced at £49.99.

If you eventually decide you want to mess with the undead, you do have the option to upgrade your digital copy of the game for the aforementioned mode, as well some bonus items and 1100 COD points.

This could be Activision testing the waters for future entries in the series, but I somehow doubt the publisher will give me the campaign-only COD I'm after.
